ABOUT THE ARTIST



Gregory Graham grew up in Watervliet, New York. He received his BA and MA from the State University of New York at Albany and his MFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Graham has been the recipient of numerous awards, including grants from the Jerome Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

The artist has exhibited work at the Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock; the Bloomington Art Center, Bloomington, MN: Centennial Art Center, Nashville; Groveland Gallery, Minneapolis; Honolulu Academy of Arts; Hopkins Center for the Arts, Hopkins, MN; Oklahoma Art Center, Oklahoma City; Pratt Graphics Center, New York; RPI, Troy, NY; Spirit Square Art Center, Charlotte, NC; University of Oregon, Eugene; and Visual Arts Center of Alaska, Anchorage, amongst others.


In addition to exhibiting prints, drawings and paintings, Graham has also screened films at the Riverview Theater, Minneapolis and the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center, Saint Paul.


His work is in the collections of Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN; Quaker Chemical Foundation, Philadelphia; State University of New York, Albany; Trenton State College, Trenton, NJ; University of Tennessee, Knoxville; University of Virginia, Charlottesville; and the Carlton Collection, Albany, NY.


The artist lives and works in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
