In addition to being a painter, Gregory Graham has been making experimental films & videos for the past decade.

He has screened work at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design; the Minnesota Museum of American Art; the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center, Saint Paul; the Riverview Theatre, Minneapolis; and the Bloomington Art Center, Bloomington, Minnesota.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gregory Graham grew up in Watervliet, New York. He received his BA and MA from the State University of New York at Albany and his MFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Graham has been the recipient of numerous awards, including grants from the Jerome Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

The artist has exhibited work at:

  • The Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock;
  • Bloomington Art Center, Bloomington, Minnesota;
  • Centennial Art Center, Nashville;
  • Groveland Gallery, Minneapolis;
  • Honolulu Academy of Arts;
  • Oklahoma Art Center, Oklahoma City;

  • RPI, Troy, New York;
  • University of Oregon, Eugene; and
  • Visual Arts Center of Alaska, Anchorage, among others.

His work is in the collections of:

  • The Bayly Museum, University of Virginia, Charlottesville;
  • Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana;
  • Quaker Chemical Foundation, Philadelphia;
  • State University of New York, Albany;
  • Trenton State College, Trenton, New Jersey;

  • The Carlton Collection, Albany, New York.

The artist lives and works in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
